2011 yılında faaliyetlerine başlayan Aksa Runflat, kurulduğu günden itibaren hızlı ve sağlam adımlarla, SSB’den almış olduğu desteklerin de büyük katkısı ile, ilerleyişine devam etmektedir. Bugün %100 yerli tasarım, üretim ve sistem doğrulama(test) altyapısı ile ön plana çıkan RunFlat Sistemleri, yerli platformlarda yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. 2023 yılında %100 yerli tasarım, üretim ve test altyapısıyla Alüminyum Yol Tekerinin üretimini gerçekleştirmek için yatırım çalışmaları hızla devam etmekte olup, yakın zamanda yerli platformlarda yaygın olarak kullanılacaktır.
RunFlat Systems can be produced for all type of vehicles as military vehicles (wheeled armored vehicles) to keep going to advance when the tire is flat. Although, the starting point is for armored military vehicles then; supply was also provided for Hi-up (14.00xR25), Loader (23.5x25), Special Vehicle projects.There are 3 different product groups, two-part, three-part and hybrid (with beadlock) models.Ballistic resistant RunFlat System (7.62x51mm NATO) at BR 7 level can be provided according to customer requirements. In addition, our products meet Finabel A.20.A.5 standards, verification studies have been performed and reports have been prepared by IABG (Germany).
Today, armored vehicles push their design weight limits in terms of their new technologies and functions. In addition, the platform weight level is tried to be reduced to the minimum in order to increase their mobility capability. Therefore, it is aimed by all vehicle manufacturers to transfer the torque generated by the engine to the ground and to reduce the weight of the platform without reducing the strength values of the wheels that carry the vehicle.
